Walt is a product in the making. The examples on this page are illustrations.
What Walt is
A house comes with hundreds of parts, a maintenance schedule, and a paper trail.
Walt keeps the equipment you own, the work it needs, and the people who do that work in one place. Open it and see what’s due, what it takes, and what was done last time.
01 / Maintenance schedule
Walt builds the schedule from what’s in your house: the filter size, the last service date, your first frost. Every task lists the time, parts, and tools it takes.
Check off the work and Walt logs it to the service history.

02 / Equipment records
Model and serial numbers, parts, manuals, and warranty dates for everything in the house, tied to where it’s installed.

Floor plan
Upload a floor plan and pin each piece of equipment where it’s installed. The shutoff is where the plan says it is.
Which filter does my furnace need?

03 / Ask Walt
Generic advice only goes so far. Walt is built to answer from your equipment, manuals, and service history, so you start with the question instead of explaining the house.
Look up a spec, find the right part, or plan a repair with the details already in hand.
04 / Contractors · Projects · Services
Who did the work, what it cost, and the paperwork behind it, from a sink repair to a kitchen remodel.
Who fixed what, when, and what they charged. Contact details and visit history in one record.
Quotes, conversations, invoices, and next steps for every repair or renovation.
Lawn care, cleaning, pest control. Who comes, how often, and what you pay.
With your permission, Walt could find contractors, gather quotes, and schedule visits. This direction is being explored and isn’t a current feature.

FAQ
What Walt is, what’s available now, and what’s planned.
Not yet. Walt is in development. This site describes the product, and the interactive examples show how it works. Sign-up and the working app aren’t available here.
Appliances and home systems with their manuals and parts, the maintenance schedule, repairs and projects, contractor contacts, and recurring services, all linked to each other.
That’s planned. An API and TypeScript client would let your own agents read your home’s records and take the same actions Walt can.
Planned integrations start with Google Calendar for reminders and events, and Asana for tasks. Neither is live on this site.
That’s being explored. Finding contractors, requesting quotes, and scheduling visits would only happen with your permission. It isn’t a current feature.
